Welcome to my blog!

My name is Kayla and I'm 24 years old living in small town Connecticut. I've wanted to truly start a blog for years and put off really doing so until now. I love hats and in reality I "wear" many of them at once. I'm a mama, a girlfriend, a photographer, a breastfeeding counselor, a babysitter and an artist. 

This is my Liam River! I am very forth coming in saying this guy was the biggest "uh oh" to ever happen to me! However, he has truly become my absolute greatest joy. 

Becoming a mother has let me slowly unravel a hidden confidence inside of me I wasn't able to reach years a go. Liam is the feistiest and funniest tiny human and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

 

I suppose I wouldn't have my little River without his awesome daddy. Although very private (opposite of me), Jake is hands down the coolest guy I have EVER met. 

There are many parts of him I had always dreamed of finding and even more parts I didn't even realize I wanted. 

Jake has helped me create a cozy home where we keep most of it relatively tidy except for our hurricane of a bedroom. And recently, we have added a lovely rescue dog to the mix, Brody.
